BROOKFIELD AVENUE LANDFILL REMEDIATION PUBLIC FORUM PROJECT INFORMATION & UPDATE The New York City Department of Environmental Protection is nearing completion of the design for the closure and capping of the Brookfield Avenue Landfill, and is holding a Public Forum to inform local residents about the project and to update them on progress in the design and forthcoming construction. The Public Forum will be held in conjunction with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the Brookfield Avenue Landfill Citizens Advisory Committee.
