Meetings

The Brookfield CAC meets regularly to discuss the remediation project, at Community Board 3 on the South Shore of Staten Island. The CAC is focusing on the project, addressing the community's concerns and ensuring that the environmental, health, safety and air monitoring plans are followed by the contractor. Anyone from the community is welcome to attend these meetings.

Below are the dates for the meetings the CAC, SAC, DEP or DEC will be holding regarding the Brookfield Landfill project. Check back often as dates will change.

  • April 26, 2010: Meeting with be held at the offices of Community Board 3 at 2pm, located at 655 Rossville Avenue, Staten Island. Topics to be discussed include odor and evacuation, MOU stats, public meeting date and agenda, progress report, alarm warning system and communications plan comments.
